What is the Tulip Pedal?
A bright, clean, tastefully furnished cozy CONDO, living room, bedroom, (guests always comment on the great bed and wonderful night's sleep) bath, kitchenette,an amazing setting. Cable TV, WIRELESS INTERNET, telephone, maps, books, flat panel radiators and more. BIRDERS LOVE IT, HIKERS LOVE IT, CYCLISTS LOVE IT, KAYAKERS FIND IT CONVENIENT TO SKAGIT BAY, ANACORTES, CHUCKANUT DRIVE AND ALSO TO LAUNCH UNDER THE BRIDGE IN LA CONNER.

Is it IN the owner's house?
NO, it occupies one of the three levels, has private parking and it has it's own private entrance so guests come and go independently.

What is there to do in the area?
Because we are found in such an idyllic area we would recommend getting out and exploring the local area as well as visiting our historic capital. If you plan to see some of the country while you are here we can recommend http://www.logancarhire.com. Renting a car in Washington will give you the opportunity to see everything we have to offer and make your life a lot easier.
Active folks, outdoor enthusiasts, come mountain or road bike, cycle backroads, hike, kayak, drive to high vistas, see incredible views, the ocean, beach walk, birdwatch. Enjoy quaint shops, fine dining, microbrewery, pubs, fine art, museums, used book stores, tour boats, ferry boats, San Juan Islands, saltwater beaches, Seabirds, the Heron, flowers, the tulips and wild Iris, fresh summer produce. Theater,light opera, concerts, stage plays, music.

Aside from the privacy, cleanliness, warmth, convenient and interesting location the Tulip Pedal has lots of windows and a covered deck over-looking the valley with a 180, 30 mile wide view from north to south and to the east to foothills of the North Cascades with Mount Baker crowning above it all...and the everchanging farmland - from tulips to potatoes, bluberries and corn..it's a lush and rich farmland yet an hour from Seattle and an hour from Vancouver, British Columbia AND 20 minutes to the ferries to the San Juan Islands...Hello! what are you waiting for?

What's for breakfast? Rise, Shine, Dine in privacy, your time, your space, your own beautiful sunrise, hopefully....and maybe a coyote or two in the game reserve below. SEASONAL CHANGES:
A light, mostly organic breakfast available the first two mornings: Made available after check-in for guests to place in fridge and prepare and enjoy at their own leisure to rise-and-shine and dine in privacy. Wholesome light choices from our wonderful Skagit Valley Food C0-OP.  BREAKFAST CHOICES/OPTIONS ARE: Whole grain local bakery bread to toast & spread with jam and butter.   OR: "RYAN'S LOAF", a local favorite cranberry walnut breakfast bread by "La Vie en Rose Bakery"  Organic Yogurt, Seasonal Berries or Fruit and/or Steel cut microwavable Oatmeal if you choose. Choice of butter, jam, cream cheese, nuefechatel (like cream cheese only less fat and calories) coffee, tea,  plus juice, tea, coffee.  Some options you may request ahead of time when you make your reservation like Fresh Eggs, you prepare them to your own taste.

WE PREFER GUESTS TO STAY A MINIMUM OF TWO NITES, ESPECIALLY ON THE WEEK-ENDS.

MID WEEK WE SOMETIMES CAN ACCOMODATE A ONE NIGHT STAY, THOUGH BREAKFAST IS LIGHTER.

WEEK NIGHTS / Monday thru Thursday
SINGLE occupancy (1 guest) = $155.00 per nite
DOUBLE occupancy (2 guests) = $165.00 per nite

WEEKEND NIGHTS / Friday - Saturday or Saturday - Sunday
(Guests may stay Friday and Saturday nites and add Sunday nite for only an additional $100.00)
SINGLE occupancy (1 guest) = $165.00
DOUBLE occupancy (2 guests) = $175.00

Weekly rates available. We have had guests stay for up to three weeks. Laundry facility available for an additional charge.

Will discuss pets though we prefer small pets which are crate trained and comfortable in their crate.
